Rachel Murray has joined Lanier, Longstaff, Hedar & Roberts LLP as an Associate after spending the past 2 and a half years working within Regulation, Risk and Compliance, with a key focus on litigation funding. Rachel has advised law firms on all aspects of risk and compliance and implemented stringent risk management and AML frameworks within firms of all sizes. She has also acted for a range of litigation funders, administrators and insurers on a variety of audit, funding and compliance matters, both in the UK and internationally. Previously, Rachel has also worked as a fee earner within the financial mis-selling department of a large Manchester based law firm, specialising in mis sold mortgages and pensions.

Rachel attended the University of Chester and completed an undergraduate degree in Law with Business, before going on to complete her Legal Practice Course and MSc in Law, Business and Management at the University of Law. Further, Rachel has also completed the Professional Skills Course, Trainee Litigation Programme, and a range of qualifications pertaining to AML and other regulations.
